On Tuesday, the artistic talent in Reception Elm was evident for all to see when the children took part in an Easter themed craft session. The activities aimed to encourage creativity, spark imagination, improve fine motor skills and promote self-expression.
With different tasks allocated to different tables, the children used a variety of materials to make a number of items including paper chickens, colourful Easter eggs, and origami style daffodils.
Each task allowed our pupils to use different aspects of their learning, from their ability to use multi-materials to make artwork to delicate fingers needed to make their paper daffodils, the session was a great way to nurture their learning in a fun, exciting and innovative way!
