11+ Potential Morning

Friday 6 November 2026 | 9:00am-1:00pm

Are you considering the Gloucestershire Grammar School test in 2027 or beyond for your child? Ashley Manor Prep’s free 11+ Potential Morning gives children in Years 2 to 5 the opportunity to complete a comprehensive assessment in a positive and encouraging environment.

The assessment is designed to identify your child’s current strengths, highlight areas that may benefit from further focus and give parents a clearer understanding of their academic potential. At the end of the morning, parents will receive detailed feedback and personalised recommendations for the next stage of their child’s 11+ journey.

Ashley Manor Prep has a strong history of 11+ success. A highlighted Year 6 cohort achieved a 90% pass rate, with pupils progressing to Pate’s Grammar, Sir Thomas Rich’s, Denmark Road, The Crypt School, Ribston Hall, Marling and Stroud High.

What to expect

  • 9:00am – Pupil drop-off and a warm welcome from our teaching team
  • Morning assessment – Key skills linked to the Gloucestershire 11+ test
  • 10:30am – Break in the school grounds
  • 12:00pm – Sport and drama activities while results are collated
  • 1:00pm – Detailed parental feedback, strengths and personalised next steps

The morning is free of charge and open to children currently in Years 2 to 5, including pupils attending other schools.

Kindergarten Play & Stay

Join us for a relaxed morning of play, discovery and new experiences at Ashley Manor Prep’s Kindergarten Play & Stay.

Little ones can explore stories, creative activities, sensory play and age-appropriate learning, while parents meet our early-years team, look around the setting and discover how we help children feel safe, confident and excited to learn.

This is a gentle introduction to Ashley Manor Prep for families considering Nursery or Kindergarten and a lovely opportunity to experience the warmth of our community before making a school decision.
