In Year 4 at Ashley Manor we seek to create a stimulating environment in which all pupils can enjoy learning. Every pupil is treated as an individual and encouraged to develop their own talents and abilities to the full. We feel it is vital that our pupils feel good about themselves as learners, as people and as part of a community and we work hard to nurture a positive, purposeful and happy atmosphere. We provide pupils with an academically challenging curriculum while also encouraging them to explore their creative potential through Music, Drama, Computing and Art.
All our pupils are ambitious academically and we want each to find their areas of interest. We facilitate learning beyond the classroom and the syllabus with a range of extra-curricular activities to ensure that every pupil receives a first-class holistic education.
In the summer term Y4 embark on their first residential trip; three days in Shropshire.
