A commitment to teaching and effective learning lies at the heart of all that we do. In Year 3, our pupils receive most of their teaching from their Form Tutors. Form Tutors play an essential role in the pupils’ holistic education. However, they are also taught by specialist staff for French, Music, Drama, Computing, Art and Games.
We teach pupils how to engage in critical thinking; to be able to organise themselves; be confident and articulate; to take responsibility for their own learning and to be aspirational.
As teachers, our work begins by nurturing each pupil’s qualities and skills which have been fostered in the Pre-Prep Department and at home. We believe in working with you to encourage your child to achieve high academic standards, to be confident, courteous, responsible and independent. We will help to instil a sense of right and wrong, respect and tolerance for others and self- discipline.
