We are seeking an enthusiastic Farm Teacher to join our preparatory school in the heart of Cheltenham!
About the Role
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Running farm clubs as well as supporting pupils in feeding the animals and cleaning the enclosures.
- Teaching farm sessions with the support of the class teacher.
- Liaising with ground staff.
- Supporting and promoting the aims and ethos of the school.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in teaching.
- Experience of working with children and farm animals.
- Experience of liaising with animal agencies.
- Knowledge of basic animal medicine.
Personal Qualities
We are also looking for someone who is:
- Professional and efficient.
- Honest and reliable with excellent communication skills
- Hard working.
