We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful school in Cheltenham.

Situated on two sites, both located in the heart of Cheltenham and approximately five minutes from each other, St Edward’s is the only Independent Day School in Cheltenham providing education for pupils aged 1 to 18. About The Position

Contract Type: Part Time, Term Time

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

  • Working as part of a dedicated and professional staff our cover supervisor steps in when a teacher is unavailable to take a lesson.
  • Playing a full part in the life of the school community, to support its mission and ethos and to encourage all staff and students to follow this example
  • Working collaboratively with parents, carers and staff for the achievement and well-being of all pupils
  • Inspiring colleagues and children through personal example and hard work
  • Implementing all school policies and procedures
  • Promoting the Welfare and Safeguarding of all pupils
  • Being a role model for pupils
  • Part of this role will involve safeguarding responsibilities including the reporting of any safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Team
