Little Oaks have been exploring their creativity this week as they rolled up their sleeves – and socks – to make Easter cards.
The Art Room erupted with laughter, as Miss Alves painted everyone’s feet bright orange, with the challenge being to keep toes and feet from wiggling! Carefully and delicately, feet were pressed to cards with squeals of delight being heard, as the imprint was revealed. After their feet carrots dried, little fingers steadily glued green paper on top, to resemble the leaves – transforming their feet into bright, orange carrots!
The session was a huge success with the production of some really lovely cards. It was also an excellent way to enhance fine motor skills, nurture imagination and let creativity blossom. Well done, everyone for your fantastic artistic display!
